COASTAL GARDEN
This garden design was created, in part, to screen a small private landing strip. Many trees and shrubs were used as a background for the rock garden, ponds, and waterfalls.
A large rock outcropping creates the rock garden filled with rock garden perennials, grasses, and diverse kinds of flowering shrubs. A Japanese style fence and gate that will stop deer from getting in. The garden opens to a gracious flagstone path leading to the house that have also been redesigned by the rescom designs company so it can look as good as the garden and with a similar style, there is also a patio and bridge over a waterfall and stream. This stream flows into a pond with water plants and fish.
Many species of rhododendrons create a flow from the patio as the main path continues down by various springs climaxing below in a five foot waterfall that flows into a large natural pond.
Two huge redwood beams set on stone create a bridge across the pond to an old tea house which have great interior design with beautiful rugs from the Kasuri collection which is perfect for it.
